As the morning went on, our line kept growing. After the mini-Miami Mafia left, we gave a last series of cheers to the Cuban diplomates inside the Interests Section. Then to our great surprise and joy, the men and women from Cuba came out and applauded us! The six hours were well worth it and we left knowing we had done well and probably prevented the media from presenting a one sided view.
